🍂 Harvest 5K and Concert
Join us on Saturday, November 9, 2024 as we host our fourth annual Harvest 5K and Concert at The Way International Headquarters in New Knoxville, Ohio. Move your body and breathe the fresh, crisp, fall air as you walk or run the 5K. In the evening, enjoy a Harvest Concert that is sure to uplift and encourage you with family-friendly entertainment in celebration of God’s abundance.
🎉 Event Participation
- Events: Guests are welcome to participate in both the 5K and concert or just one of the events.
- Registration: To run or walk the 5K requires registration: however, the concert is open and free for everyone.
- Family: Bring your family and friends along too!
- Sunday Service: Then on Sunday morning, join us for our Sunday Teaching Service at The Word Over the World Auditorium.
🏃 Harvest 5K Information
- Registration Deadline: Register by October 25 to be guaranteed to receive a t-shirt.
- Prizes: Gift certificate will be given to the top male and female finishers.
- Medals: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age group (men and women): 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
👶 Children's Race Information
- Registration: Free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Medals: Each child who participates will receive a medal as well as other fun gifts for their participation.
- Race Schedule: 50-Yard Dash for 3- to 7-year-olds begins at 1:00 p.m.: Quarter-Mile Fun Run for 8- to 11-year-olds will begin soon after.
- Bounce House: Enjoy a bounce house open before and after the children's races!
🎶 Concert Information
- Concert Access: All are welcome to enjoy a free family-friendly concert in the evening.
- Time: Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:00 p.m.
🍏 Food Information
- Beverages: What's a harvest event without hot chocolate and apple cider? There will be plenty of both to refresh and warm you throughout the event.
- Post-Race Snacks: There will also be water and light post-race snacks for participants.
