Live Like Leah 5K Memorial Race and 1 Mile Walk

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

The 3rd Annual Live Like Leah 5k is a race to honor the life of an amazing woman, Leah Joy Bowers, who was a beloved teacher, coach, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and dog mom! Leah passed away in January, 2022 due to complications from cancer. All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Capernaum Camp, a branch of the Young Life Ministry for individuals with special needs.

🌄 About the Camp

• Experience: This camp experience takes Capernaum/Fun Life friends with their leaders and buddies to the beautiful YL Lost Canyon in Williams, AZ.
• Activities: Kids get to participate in various activities from ziplining, to ropes courses and water slides.
• Friendships: Participants will build sweet, genuine, and unconditional friendships with caring adults and peers.
• Personal Growth: They will grow in hope, faith, encouragement, and self-esteem, all while learning about and furthering their relationship with Jesus.

• Overall and Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female
• Age Groups: Will be determined based on size of race field: 0-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

💰 Entry Fee

• Early Bird: $25 until July 17th
• Standard: $35 until August 17th
• Race Day: $40 on race day
• Shirt: Guaranteed t-shirt if signed up by July 26th.
