Course Information
- Course Route: Begins at the corner of South Washington and Vine Streets
- Terrain: Mostly flat with many straight sections
- Route Management: Turns manned by Gaston Lions Club Members or police officers
- Water Stations: One or two, depending on temperature
Awards and Prizes
- Awards: Top three finishers in each of the eleven age groups
- Overall Winners: Male and female categories
- Door Prizes: Lots of prizes available for participants
- T-Shirts: All preregistered runners/walkers receive a T-shirt
Age Groups
- Categories: 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29
- Continued: 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-65
- Final Groups: 66-69, 70-75, 76 & over
Kids Fun Run
- Time: Around 9:15 AM after the 5K Run
- Distance: Approximately a quarter mile
- Awards: All kids participating will receive an award
- Location: Gaston Lions Club Park
