GASTON LIONS CLUB TWENTY SECOND ANNUAL 5K RUN AND WALK

🕖 Registration Details

• Location: Wes-Del Elementary School at 500 East Jackson Street, Gaston, IN 47342
• Start Time: Registration begins at 7:00 AM on SATURDAY AUGUST 2, 2025
• Registration Ends: 8:00 AM, followed by a participant meeting
• Race Start: 8:30 AM in the Town of Gaston

🚐 Shuttle Information

• Pre-Race Shuttle: Must register by 7:30 AM to drop off a vehicle at the Gaston Lions Club Park
• Return Shuttle: Available back to the Town of Gaston after the race if needed
• Meeting Point: Participants will proceed to the starting line post-meeting

📍 The Course

• Starting Point: Corner of South Washington and Vine Streets
• Route: Continues through the town of Gaston, south on the Cardinal Greenway, east onto Country Road 750 N, north on County Road 450 W
• Finish Line: Gaston Lions Club Park, 7449 W. CR 850 N
• Course Type: Mostly flat with many straight sections conducive to recording good times

• Course Support: Each turn will be manned by a Gaston Lions Club Member or police officer
• Mile Markers: Placed every half mile along the route
• Water Stations: One or two provided based on race day temperature

🥇 Awards & Prizes

• Awards: Given to the Top three finishers in each of the eleven age groups for male and female and the overall male and female run winners
• Door Prizes: Lots of prizes available!
• T-Shirts: All preregistered runners and walkers receive a T-shirt: race day shirts may be limited

👶 KIDS FUN RUN

• Event Time: Held after the 5K Run, around 9:15 AM
• Distance: Approximately a quarter mile
• Awards: All participating kids will receive an award

👥 Age Groups

• Categories: 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-65, 66-69, 70-75, 76 & over
