Heart Healthy 5K and Fun Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy chapter of the American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is hosting its 10th Annual Homecoming 5K and 3rd Annual 1.4 mile Fun Walk!

Join us for the Heart Healthy 5K and Fun Walk on Saturday September 27th, 2025 during the University of Findlay's Homecoming Weekend. A founding pillar within APhA-ASP is heart health, and a portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association. This year's Heart Healthy 5K and Fun Walk will feature a brand new path that starts and finishes at the Griffith Memorial Arch on Findlay's campus.

🕖 Registration Details

• Time: Registration/packet pick-up will begin at 7am on Saturday, September 27th and will take place until 8:45 am.
• Location: In front of Old Main (1000 N Main St. Findlay, OH 45840).
• Activities: During this time (7-8:45am), students from the College of Pharmacy will be hosting tables with fun and educational activities for event participants to visit.
• Raffle Entry: After visiting all the student tables, you will be eligible for entry into this year's raffle drawing with fun and exciting prizes!

🏁 Race Timeline

• 8:45am: Pre-race announcements at the start line.
• 9am: The race will begin promptly with professional timing provided by Run Toledo.
• Raffle Drawing: After the race is done, the drawing of winners for the raffle prizes will begin. You must be present to win.

🧘‍♂️ Post-Race Services

At the conclusion of your 5K or Fun Walk, students from the University of Findlay Doctor of Physical Therapy Program will be offering FREE post-race physical therapy including injury screens, cupping, massage, and stretching!

🚗 Parking Information

Please park at Winebrenner Theological Seminary back parking lots (950 N Main St. Findlay, OH 45840). Parking is free and a quick walk to the registration area.

📅 Race Day Timeline

• 7am: Registration/packet pick-up opens (1000 N Main St. Findlay, OH 45840).
• 7-8:45am: Visit our student tables for entry into our raffle drawing.
• 8:45am: Pre-race announcements at start line.
• 9am: 5K and Fun Walk start!
• ~10am: Raffle prize drawing (must be present to win) and Post-race physical therapy including injury screens, cupping, massage, and stretching.
