Chilly Willy Duathlon

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Distance: Run 3.1 Miles | Bike 10 Miles | Run 3.1 Miles
• Course: The Duathlon is a marked 5k run, followed by a 10 mile bike, and a second 5k run.
• Capacity: This event has grown in popularity in the past five years and will close out at 500 entries this year.
• USAT Event: This is a USAT event with drafting marshals on the course.

🎁 Race Benefits

• Custom Aerobottle: All athletes will receive a Custom Chilly Willy Aerobottle (https://www.aerobottleusa.com)
• Merchandise: An option to purchase a long sleeve Chilly Willy t-shirt is available.
• Chip Timing: The event is chip-timed, with splits for each segment of the race.
• Awards: Awards are given three deep in each age-group in addition to the overall male and female finisher.

📍 Packet Pickup

• Location: Outspokin Bicycles-Clearwater, 2241 Gulf to Bay Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33765
• Date: Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Presentation: Former Duathlon World Champion Bob Brown will do a presentation at 4:00 PM for first timers or new athletes.

🏁 Race Day Schedule

• Date: Sunday, February 4th
• Time: 5:45 AM – 10:00 AM at The Fort @ Ft. De Soto Park Beach
• Packet Pickup: 5:45 AM – 6:45 AM (Remember to have your Bib and Timing Chip!)
• Race Start: 7:00 AM, with awards at 9:15 AM

☔ Refund Policy

• Cancellation Rights: The Chilly Willy Duathlon reserves the right in the event of inclement weather, emergency, or natural disaster to cancel the race or move to a later time.
• No Refunds: In the event of cancellation, there will be no refund of entry fees.

We encourage everyone to come on Saturday to pick-up packets and timing chips. This will allow you to avoid long lines on race morning and support our sponsors. We look forward to seeing you perform your chilly best at the Chilly Willy Duathlon!
