Ville to Ville Relay

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: April 12, 2025
• Location: 2 Rocket Drive, Asheville, NC
• Event Status: The event is SOLD OUT, and our waiting list is full.
• Interested Teams: Join our email list to be notified about 2026 Registration Dates.

🌄 About the Relay

• Distance: 72-mile team running event from Asheville, NC to Greenville, SC.
• Course Highlights: Travels through the Appalachian Mountains and local craft breweries.
• Team Composition: Each team consists of three to six runners who will split 12 legs ranging from 3-9 miles.
• Finish Line Celebration: Teams will arrive at Hampton Station between 3:00-8:00 pm for music, food, and craft brews.

💰 Team Payments

• Deposit: All teams are required to pay a deposit of $300 during registration.
• Total Fee: The entire fee is $750, with a remainder of $450 due by midnight on January 15, 2025.
• Deadline: Teams with unpaid fees on January 16, 2025, will lose their spot in the race.
• Processing Fee: There is a 5.5% processing fee on all online payments.

📅 Packet Pickup & Welcome Reception

• April 10, 2025: Southernside Brewing Company, Greenville, SC, 4-7 pm
• April 11, 2025: Asheville Sports Club, Asheville, NC, 4-7 pm
• April 12, 2025: Starting Line
• Attendance: Only captains or a team representative are required to attend, but all participants are welcome.

🎂 Age Requirements

• Eligibility: All runners must be 21 or older to participate in the Ville to Ville Craft Brew Relay.

📝 Team Name

• Creativity: Be creative, but keep it classy - make your mother proud!
• Submission: Team name can be submitted during registration and changed until March 5, 2025.

🏅 Team Categories

• Options: Open Co-ed, Open, Open Female, Masters, and Masters Female.
• Team Size: Teams can consist of 3-6 members.
• Changes: Categories can be chosen during registration and changed until race weekend.

👥 Team Captain

• Responsibilities: Each team will have a team captain who will receive race updates.
• Transfer: Captains can be transferred by contacting race officials.

⏱️ Team Pace

• Pace Requirement: Mandatory team pace of 11:00 minutes per mile or less to reach the post-race party.
• Estimation: Teams will estimate a team pace at registration.
• Final Estimates: Due by March 5, 2025, with additional resources available for calculations.

☔ Cancellation & Weather

• Event Status: This is a rain-or-shine event.
• Director's Authority: The race director can change the course or event in case of inclement weather.
