Ville to Ville Relay

🏃‍♂️ Event Status

• Sold Out: 2025 - The event is SOLD OUT, and our waiting list is full.
• Email List: Interested teams should join our email list to be notified about 2026 Registration Dates.
• Sister Event: Teams can register for our sister event, the Ville to Ville Sprint Relay, scheduled for September 27, 2025.

🌄 Race Overview

• Distance: The Ville to Ville Relay celebrates the beautiful region from Asheville, NC to Greenville, SC with a 72-mile team running event.
• Teams: Each team will consist of three to six runners who will split 12 legs ranging from 3-9 miles.
• Start Time: The first flight of teams will start the relay around 5:00 am in Asheville, NC.
• Celebrate: Ville to Ville teams will arrive at Hampton Station in Greenville, SC between 3:00-8:00 pm for a finish line celebration including music, food, and craft brews.

💰 Team Payments

• Deposit: All teams will be required to pay a deposit of $300 during your initial registration.
• Total Fee: Teams can pay the entire fee of $750, or the remainder of their team fee ($450) by midnight on January 15, 2025.
• Deadline: Teams with unpaid fees on January 16, 2025, will lose their spot in the race and their non-refundable deposit.
• Processing Fee: There is a 5.5% processing fee on all online payments.

• Attire: Break out the Groundhog's Day earmuffs or the New Year’s Eve glasses for a run from the mountains to the foothills.
• Personal Favorites: Represent one holiday as a team or your own personal favorites!
• Commemorate: We can’t wait to commemorate your special days with our favorite race of the year!

📋 Packet Pickup & Welcome Receptions

• April 10, 2025: Southernside Brewing Company, Greenville, SC, 4-7pm
• April 11, 2025: Asheville Sports Club, Asheville, NC, 4-7pm
• April 12, 2025: Starting Line
• Attendance: Only captains or a team representative are required to attend the packet pickup event, but all participants are welcome to attend.

🎂 Age Requirements

• Minimum Age: All runners must be 21 or older to participate in the Ville to Ville Craft Brew Relay.

🏷️ Team Name

• Creativity: Be creative, but keep it classy, as your team name will appear in lots of public places.
• Submission: You will submit your team name during registration, but it can be changed until March 5, 2025.

📊 Team Categories

• Open Co-ed: Minimum of 2 females.
• Open: All-male team or all males plus 1 female.
• Open Female: All females.
• Masters: All members 40+: can consist of various configurations.

👥 Team Captain

• Responsibilities: Each team will have a team captain, initially using the name and contact info of the person registering.
• Updates: We will provide regular race information and updates for the team captain.
• Transfers: Team Captains can be transferred by emailing info@villetovillerelay.com.

⏱️ Team Pace

• Pace Requirement: Mandatory to have a team pace of 11:00 minutes per mile or less.
• Estimation: You will estimate a team pace when you register your team with an average min/mile pace for all runners on the entire course.
• Final Estimates: Final team pace estimates will be due on March 5, 2025.

☔ Cancellation & Weather

• Event Policy: This is a rain-or-shine event.
• Course Changes: The race director has the right to change the course or event in case of inclement weather or state restrictions.
