Race into Finals 5k at KSU

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: Running/Walking 5K or 1 Mile at Kent State University
• Date: May 3, 2025
• Time: 1 mile at 8:30 am, 5K at 9:00 am
• Purpose: Funds raised benefit the College of Nursing Student Emergency Fund

🎽 Registration Details

• Price: $30 for 5K, $15 for 1 Mile
• Discounts: Students receive a $10 discount on the 5K with the coupon code "Student"
• Refund: Refer 2 friends with link provided after sign up and receive a $5 refund!
• Shirt Guarantee: Shirts guaranteed to runners registered by April 23

🍕 Event Inclusions

• Inclusions: Registration fee covers race timing, post-event snacks, a swag bag, and a new t-shirt
• Packet Pickup: On race morning starting at 7:30 am or Friday afternoon before race (Time and Place TBD)
• Registration Deadline: Online registration will close May 1: day-of-race registration until 8:15 am (cash or check)
• Location and Parking: Park at Henderson Hall, R8 parking lot or C science Lots. Parking is free.

🏆 Prizes and Community Involvement

• Community Involvement: Open to students, faculty, staff, families, and community members
• Prizes: Fun prizes like 'Middle of the Pack' and 'School Your Professor', youngest and oldest/wisest participant
• Access: R8 parking will be closed from 8:30 am until 9:05 am
