The 36th annual Bill’s Beer Run (BBR) is a 5-mile road race that takes place on October 26, 2025, at 1000 S Casey Key Rd, Nokomis, FL, hosted each year by the Manasota Track Club (MTC).

REGISTER BY SEPTEMBER 1 TO GUARANTEE YOUR SHIRT SIZE.

Registrations after September 1 are not guaranteed to get a shirt at all.

🏆 Bill’s Beer Run History

• Founded: Started in 1989 by MTC member Bill Menard.
• Purpose: The sole fundraiser for the MTC non-profit organization.
• Attendance: Limited to 700 runners: sells out quickly.
• Experience: Known as “the most fun you can have running five miles!”

This longstanding club event includes an amazing race course along the Gulf of Mexico, Halloween weekend festivities, BEER, great race shirts, costumes, 10-deep age group awards, DJ, costume contests, BEER, dancing, hot-dogs, BEER and more!

• Restrictions: Due to County restrictions, strollers and dogs are not permitted.

📝 BBR Race Registration

• Capacity: Limited to 700 runners.
• MTC Benefits: Members get early registration and special pricing.
• Pricing: Blitz pricing with registrations as low as $25.
• Registration Dates: Members register June 1: Non-members July 1 for $100.

🍻 Pub Run Series

Want to be in a BBR mood all month long? Then the Pub Run series is for you! Your PUB RUN registration includes RACE ENTRY to the BBR 5 Miler on October 26 AND ENTRY to the THREE Pub Runs leading up to race day. The Pub Run Series is limited to 100 people and takes place in October. Pub Runs will happen on Thursdays, October 3, 10, and 17, giving members a chance to run together at different bars, win swag, and socialize while supporting the club’s mission to promote healthy physical activity.

👑 VIP Package

Limited to 25 SUPER-SPECIAL MTC members. The VIP package includes: BBR race registration, 10 raffle tickets, special swag (could be a shirt, could be a hat, whatever it is it’ll be COOL!) and special VIP treatment on race day including reserved parking on race morning, special armband for beer tent, recognition at the event, and knowing that YOU helped to contribute to the student scholarships program. Per USATF rules, gun time is used to determine prize money winners and time bonus recipients. Tag time (chip time) will be used to determine all age-group winners.
