The first Make A Difference Run/Walk!
📅 Event Details
- Date: September 14th
- Location: 124 1st Ave SE, Saint Joseph, MN
- Distance Options: 1k and 5k run/walk
- Timing: The 5k event will be timed by Pickle Events.
🦸♀️ 1k Superhero Theme
- Theme: Free 1k with a superhero theme.
- Inclusion: A superhero cape is included in the registration thanks to EL-JAY Plumbing and Heating.
- Start Time: The 1k will begin at 9:30 am.
- Costume Encouragement: Feel free to wear a superhero costume along with the provided cape!
🏃♀️ 5k Run Details
- Start Time: The 5k will start at 10:00 am.
- Warm Up: KPower Yoga will conduct warm-up stretching starting at 9:45 am.
- Cool Down: After the 5k, KPower will help everyone cool down with some after-run yoga and stretching!
- Post-Event Gathering: Hang out and party at The Little Saints Academy parking lot!
🎉 Post-Race Celebration
- Afterparty: Hosted by Bad Habit Brewing starting at noon with a band and food truck.
- Special Offer: Gary's Pizza available and special batch of Lemon Hangup Beer, with $1 donation to INDY for every pint sold!
- Participation: Even if you do not wish to run/walk, feel free to come and support the cause!
- Race Day Registration: Available Friday and Saturday for $55.
🥇 Awards and Medals
- Medal Awards: Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in 6 age brackets, separately for men and women.
- Special Prize: 1st place winners will receive a $50 Scheels gift card.
- Trophy Sponsor: Awards provided by All Star Trophy and Awards.
👕 Runner's Shirts
- Inclusion: A shirt is included with your registration for the 5k and a cape for the 1k.
- Additional Purchase: Additional shirts and capes may be purchased separately.
- Size Guarantee: Shirt sizes are guaranteed only for registrations prior to midnight on August 31st.
- Distribution: Race day t-shirts are distributed on a “first come, first served” basis.
