The Timothy School 5K Family Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Come join us for one of our favorite fundraising events of the year! The Timothy School is hosting their annual 5K Family Fun Run & Walk on Sunday, October 12th, 2025 at 500 Lee Rd, Wayne, PA. The Timothy School is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating children with autism, ages 5-21. For over 50 years, the approved private school has worked to meet student needs through utilizing a research-based instructional model and focusing on each student’s individual strengths and needs to increase their skills and build their independence.

🎉 Family Friendly Fun

This is a family friendly event for individuals of all ages and abilities. Participants can join by running a 5K, participating in the one mile fun run/walk, or joining us for the 'after party' post-race festivities!

• Activities: There will be a variety of fun stations after the race such as: raffles, refreshments, lawn games, moon bounce, sensory table, and a live music performance by our amazing music therapist, Jake!

💵 Participant Information & Pricing

• Before race week pricing: $35 for 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk
• Race week & day of registration: $40 for 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk
• Children 10 & under: Free: can purchase a t-shirt for $10
• Timothy School Staff, Students, & Alumni: $20
• Post-race activities: $15 per family (separate sign up link)

If you sign up and would like to guarantee yourself a t-shirt, please sign up by September 27th!

🌟 New This Year!

You can now create and join your own team! If you would like to be the team leader, designate so during your registration. Then share with others you want to join your team. Set a fundraising goal for your team and share with others who may not be able to attend, but want to donate! There will be a prize for the team who fundraises the highest amount of money!

🏅 Awards

Awards will be given to the top 1-3 overall for male and female. The race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co. Results will be found at http://www.brynmawrracing.com.

If you would like to be a sponsor for this race, please reach out regarding sponsorship packages. The proceeds from the 5K will directly benefit students through building and program enhancements in areas such as: updated technology and playground equipment, community based instruction/special activities, AAC lending library, and specialized instructional equipment and materials.
