Blueberry Hill 5K & Newberry Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: August 2, 2025
• Location: 18 Monument Street, Montrose, PA
• Registration: Online registration for the 5K has closed, but new runners can register between 7 & 8 a.m. on Saturday.
• Event: Join us for the First Annual 5K and Fun Run as part of our Blueberry Festival!

🍽️ Post-Race Festivities

• Food: Enjoy blueberry pancakes at our breakfast tent after the race.
• All-Day Events: Family-friendly activities on the Village Green in Montrose.
• Pie-Eating Contest: Test your skills in our afternoon contest!
• Proceeds: Benefits the Susquehanna Historical Society & Free Library Association.

🏅 Awards and Prizes

• 5K Medals: Top 3 male and female finishers in each age group receive medals.
• Cash Prizes: 1st: $50, 2nd: $40, 3rd: $30 for overall Male and Female finishers.
• School Awards: Cash awards for the three lowest scoring schools and for the school with the most participants.
• Registration: Identify your school during registration to qualify for school awards.

• 1st Place School: $500
• 2nd Place School: $300
• 3rd Place School: $100
• Most Participants: Additional $100

👕 Event Details

• T-Shirts: Pre-register by July 19 to receive an event T-shirt.
• T-Shirt Availability: Late registrants may receive a T-shirt if available.
• Waiver: All participants must sign a waiver.
• School Spirit: Support your athletic department by identifying your school district.
