🏃‍♂️ SECOND ANNUAL WESTLAKE COMMUNITY RUN

The City of Westlake Community Run is a special event for the whole family being hosted by the Recreation Department and held in conjunction with the Annual Safety & Wellness Day. Come out and enjoy a run or walk through the beautiful City of Westlake and then stay for the Fair! Race begins and ends on the Recreation Center Campus. There will be a timed 5K Run and Speed Walking Division along with an untimed 1-Mile Walk beginning at 8:30am. There will be post-race refreshments, fruits and awards pick-up. Raffle prize winners will be announced during the pancake breakfast. Event goody bags guaranteed for the first 200 registered.

🥞 Pancake Breakfast

New this year we are hosting a pancake breakfast from 9am to 11am following the race catered by Chris Cakes known for their world famous flying flapjacks. Each paid registration comes with a free ticket and all children 5 & under are free, additional tickets can be purchased for $8. We are also hosting a Kids Dash which is free for those 8 years old and under. This dash will kick off at 8:15am before the main race.

🎉 Event Features

Entertainment: This event will also include an Inflatable and DJ.
Safety & Wellness Fair: Stay for the Safety & Wellness Fair starting at 10:00am at the Westlake Recreation Center! The fair is hosted by University Hospitals and the City of Westlake.

Registration and Packet Pick Up Begins 7:30am at The Westlake Recreation Center Grounds, 28955 Hilliard Blvd., Westlake, OH 44145

🏆 Awards

Top overall male & female as well as 5K racers finishing in the top three in each age group. Age groups (male & female): 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Speed Walk - Top 3 men and top 3 women overall. No age groups.
