Run Branch County 5k & Half Marathon

Join us for the second annual Run Branch County 5k & Half Marathon! Our event will be held on Sunday, August 31st, 2025 in Coldwater, MI. Start time is 8am.

💰 Event Pricing

• Opening race fee until 7/31/25: $30 for 5k, $60 for Half Marathon
• 8/01 to 8/30: $35 for 5k, $70 for Half Marathon
• Race day 8/31: $40 for 5k, $80 for Half Marathon
• Group Registration: Save $5 off your total transaction if you register 3 or more people at the same time.

👶 Kids Dash

FREE Kids 50 yard dash - please register your child so we have an idea how many children are participating.

👕 Participant Perks

• T-shirt: Participants receive a t-shirt with registrations by 8/1. T-shirts are not guaranteed after 8/1. (5k and half marathon participants only)
• Medals: Finisher medal provided to all 5k and Half Marathon participants.
• Awards: Top 3 Males, Top 3 Females, Top 3 Non-Binary for both 5k and Half Marathon across various age categories.
• Course Map: See tab along the top/side of the page for links to both the 5k and 1/2 marathon course maps.

🚰 Aid Stations and Restrooms

We will have 3 aid stations (1 serves as the first station and the 4th station) that will be stocked with water and Gatorade. Port-a-jons will be at the start/finish, aid stations #1 and #3. There is a DNR port-a-jon at the boat launch on Narrows Rd just about 1 mile after aid station #3.

🏨 Hotel Blocks

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup: Saturday, 8/30, 1-4PM, Dr. Robert Browne Recreation Center, 1776 Heritage Dr., Coldwater, MI 49036. Sunday Race day morning starting at 6:30-7:30AM.

💖 Proceeds

Proceeds from the event will provide athletic scholarships for underprivileged youth within Branch County.

🍔 Food and Fun

We will have food vendors and the race start/finish is at an outdoor recreational area which offers outdoor basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, pickleball/tennis courts, disc golf course, children's playground.

⏱️ Timing

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
