🏃 In Memory of Joe Mike Baker

• Tribute: This memorial race honors Joe Mike Baker, who lived and worked in the Sandy Bottom Community.
• Passion: Joe Mike had many hobbies, but he fell in love with running and was training for his first half marathon at the time of his accidental death in September 2014.
• Purpose: Family and friends organized the JMB Memorial 5K and Fun Run to raise money for scholarships for high school seniors, mirroring Joe Mike's commitment to his community.
• Scholarships: Since 2016, the event has awarded over $31,500.00 in scholarships to 32 South Lenoir High School students.
