Orangetheory 5k at Labor Day Lift Off

🏃‍♂️ Orangetheory 5k Overview

Join us for the 4th annual Orangetheory 5k at Labor Day Lift Off on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Starting from the IAFF Fallen Firefighters Memorial (northwest corner of Memorial Park), head through the side streets of Memorial Park, around Prospect Lake and finish back at the memorial. The 5K race will start at 9 a.m. on Sunday, August 31st, but come early and watch around 70 balloons take to the sky and enjoy shopping and vendors before the run! The top three male and female competitors in each division will bring home the gold, silver, or bronze medals. Award Ceremony will be held near the DJ after race completion.

📦 Packet Pickup

Registration packets can be picked up at Orangetheory Fitness on Friday, August 29, Saturday August 30 or at Memorial Park on Race Day!

🅿️ Parking

Pre-purchase parking passes are available at a discounted rate for both the Rose Bowl Lot and East Lot. Parking is first come, first serve, and spots will fill up quickly—so we encourage early arrival. The Rose Bowl Lot is closest to the start line for added convenience.

Please allow extra commute time, as road closures in and around Memorial Park may disrupt normal traffic flow. To access the Rose Bowl Lot: Enter from eastbound on Pikes Peak Ave. and turn right onto S. Hancock Ave. Upon arrival, parking attendants will direct you to available spaces. To access the East Lot: Head north on Printers Pkwy and turn left onto International Cir./Kidskare Pt. Continue on International Cir./Kidskare Pt. until you reach traffic control personnel who will direct you to the East Lot. Additional free parking is available on side streets around Memorial Park.

💧 Water Stations

On average, Sunday's temperature is warm. It is very important that race participants stay hydrated and wear sunscreen. There will be two water stations on the race course. These stations will provide participants with water. However, please feel free to bring your own hydration along. Water will also be provided for participants before and after the race.

The top three male and female competitors in each division will bring home the gold, silver, or bronze medals. Award Ceremony will be held near the DJ after race completion.
