Carmela’s Heart Foundation is proud and humbled to host its second Love in Action 5K & 10K, a beautiful and fun family event where every step counts and makes a difference in the life of children who lack the basics in life.

📅 Date and Time

Saturday, October 26th @ 7:00am

⏰ Schedule of Events

• 6:00AM: Vista View Park opens for participants to arrive
• 6:00AM: Packet Pickup opens
• 7:00AM: Packet Pickup closes
• 7:30AM: Gun start

8:00AM - Race after party with music, refreshments and vendor exhibition begins.
8:45AM - Awards presentation (approximately)
10:00AM - The music fades until next year!

📋 Race Details

• Parking: Park to the right upon entering the park on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.
• Packet Pickup Area: Designated area with no on-site registration.
• The course: A 5K (3.10 miles) route around and over the two hills in the park, with 2 loops for the 10K.
• Results: Available on-site: you can sign up to receive results via text.

Awards: Offered to the top male and female finishers as well as the top three in each age group. Overall awards are based upon gun time (gun to chip).

Male and female age groups are:
8-14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60 and Up (Age based upon years old on race day).

In case of severe weather or restrictions, in-person registrations will transfer to the virtual race.

Participants in the virtual event will receive their running kit sent to the valid US address used during registration within 2 weeks of the in-person event.

Vista View Park is in western Broward County.

For all approaches, arriving early is advised as the entrance can get backed up.

Complete a 5K (3.1 miles) at your convenience anytime and anywhere.

We provide the option to include the race kit (T-shirt and medal) for an additional fee of $12.00, including shipping costs (US only).
