🌊 Race Overview

This day is all about supporting The Summer Safe Ocean State initiative in Rhode Island! We are all coming together to raise awareness & funding toward Water Safety/Drowning Prevention, Cancer Prevention/Cardiac Health & Protecting Rhode Island's Coastal Environment.

🏁 Race Events

• 5K Run or Walk: Participate in a 5K to run or walk at your own pace.
• Swims: Choose between 1 Mile or 2.4 Mile swims.
• Paddles: Opt for either 3 Mile or 6 Mile paddles.
• Eco-Challenger: A combination of 5K Run + 1 Mile Swim + 3 Mile Paddle.
• Ultimate Challenger: Complete the 5K Run, 2.4 Mile Swim, and 6 Mile Paddle.
• Team Relays: Join the Co-Ed Swim & Paddle Team Relays for extra fun.

🚗 Parking Information

Parking At Roger Wheeler Is Charged By Car Weekend Rate: RI Resident $7.00, Non-RI Resident $14.

🏆 Division Scoring Brackets

• Up to 17 Years Old: Compete in the youth category.
• 18-29: Young adult competitors.
• 30-39: Participants in their thirties.
• 40-49: Those in their forties.
• 50-59: Competitors aged fifty to fifty-nine.
• 60-69: Sixty to sixty-nine age group.
• 70+: Senior competitors over seventy.

• 6:15am: Parking & 5K Checkin / Time Chip Pick Up.
• 7:00am: 5K Registration Closes.
• 7:30am: 5K Race Starts.
• 7:30am: Swim & Paddle Checkin / Time Chip Pick Up Opens.
• 8:30am: Public Event Area Opens.
• 8:30am: Swim Checkin Closes.
• 9:00am: Swim Races Start.
• 10:30am: Paddle Registration Closes.
• 11:00am: Paddle Races Start.
• 1:00pm: Co-Ed Swim & Paddle Team Relays Start.
• 3:00pm: Public Event Area Closes.
