🏁 Race Overview
And they’re off! The Wixom Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will host its annual Derby Day races on Saturday, May 3rd at Sibley Square Park located in the heart of downtown Wixom. The 2025 Derby Day races will utilize 5K and 10K routes that take participants along the Michigan Airline Trail, which is part of the Great Lake to Lake Trail. The 1 Mile Fun Run will lead participants through our beautiful downtown neighborhoods.
🕗 Registration Details
- Onsite Registration: Available the morning of the race starting at 8:00 am at Sibley Park.
- Payment Method: Transactions for payment will be cashless. Please make sure to have a credit or debit card with you.
🎁 Participant Perks
- Wristband: Participants will receive a complimentary Derby Day wristband.
- Finishing Medal: All finishers will receive a medal.
- T-shirts: To guarantee a t-shirt, you must register by April 5th. After that, shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
- Post-Race Activities: Enjoy downtown Wixom after the race. Show your wristband at Drafting Table Brewing Company for the post Derby Day Race Party to receive discounts.

Your participation will help support Camp Casey. $5.00 from each registration will help fund Horsey House Calls, Cowboy Campouts, and Outlaw Outings. ⏱️ Race Logistics
- Race Start Times: There will be 10 minutes between race start times.
- Packet Pick-up: Will be held on Friday, May 2nd from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the City of Wixom Municipal Campus, 49045 Pontiac Trail, Wixom, MI 48393.
- Morning Packet Pick-up: If you cannot make it at this time, you can receive your packet the morning of the race starting at 8:00 am at Sibley Park at the registration table.
