The Wisdom Warrior Challenge (WWC) is a unique track event for senior living communities!
- Start: What started as 19 seniors training together for a local 5K now involves more than 1,000+ participants in a national competition!
- Cost: It’s absolutely FREE to every participant thanks to our generous sponsors!
- Community Engagement: Participating senior communities are given all the tools required to host a WWC track event for their residents.
- Competition: Points earned in both a local and national competition!
Qualifying is easy – participants must be 50 years of age or older and able to repeat the statement: “Age is just a number, and I am so much more than a number!”
- Age Requirement: Must be 50 years or older.
- Statement: Must repeat the required statement.
The competition is broken down into several different distances and various age categories – including a wheelchair division!
- Distances: Different lengths to cater to all participants.
- Categories: Various age categories and a wheelchair division.
- Rewards: Participants receive stocked up swag bags, t-shirts, and medals.
The WWC is a fantastic opportunity to engage senior community residents in health and wellness programs!
- Community Involvement: Involve the local community through sponsorships.
- Awards Ceremonies: Celebrate all participants in awards ceremonies.
- Vendor Expos: Opportunities for local vendor engagement.
