🏃‍♀️ The Watermelon Wobbler

The Watermelon Wobbler is a fun 5k trail run/walk/hike through scenic Wrentham conservation land and White Barn Farm property and is the second race in the Farm to Trail 5K Series! It is open to all ages and skill levels. The Watermelon Wobbler comes around in the thick of summer, when the days are long and the fun never ends! Our Peak Summer event celebrates just that - summa-summa-summa-time! The course is thick and green and maybe a little dusty! This event celebrates and supports the sustainability of local agriculture and land management by funding our mission to preserve open land and food security for our communities.

• Top Finishers: Prizes for the top finishers in each category.
• Overall Winner: Special prizes for the overall winner.
• Race Raffle: Every participant has a chance to win in the race raffle.
• Peak Summer Celebration: Free entry into the celebration at the farm with music, food, local vendors, and activities.

⛰️ Course Terrain

This is an off-road trail race. Course terrain includes dirt and/or gravel paths, rocks, roots, and inclines and declines in elevation. It's a fun course that we think you will really enjoy! The course will be clearly marked and course marshals will be stationed along the race. A water station will be located at about the halfway point. This is a cup-less race: please bring your own water carriers.

📅 Bib Pick-Up

Registered participants are encouraged to pick up their bib at the farm in advance.

🕗 Check-In / Day-Of Registration

Check in will open at 8:00 AM on the day of the race. Same day registrations will be accepted up until 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the race.

BaseCamp FitCo will be leading runners in an organized preface stretch!

🚗 Parking

Due to the incredible popularity of this race, we have secured additional satellite parking within a 3 minute walk (0.2 miles) of the farm. We ask those racers who arrive early to park at our satellite location at 513 South Street (Bay State Physical Therapy). Those parking at the satellite lot are welcome to drop off any belongings and passengers at the farm before parking. Thank you!

We strive to accomplish this mission in many ways including cultivating and selling high quality, diversified, organically grown produce, maintaining and offering our open spaces to our community, providing education on the importance of local agriculture and accessible green spaces, and nurturing our staff to grow as employees and individuals.
