🏫 About Cedar Lane School
- Location: The Cedar Lane School is a public, special education school located in Howard County, Maryland.
- Enrollment: Enrollment has steadily increased over the past couple of years, currently serving over 130 students.
- Student Needs: All students are diagnosed with severe and profound cognitive learning disabilities, with many also having physical disabilities.
- Funding: The expenses per student are much greater than other public schools, necessitating fundraising efforts by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

- Annual Celebration: This year marks the 27th annual “Walk for Our Stars” 5K Fun Run to raise much-needed funds.
