Run, walk, ride, swim, row...mummy shuffle! Join us either in person or virtually for our 14th Annual Spooky Duke 5K, 10K, and costume march!

🎯 Mission

Parent to Parent Family Support Network High Country (FSN-HC) provides support, education and caring connections to families who:

• Understand: have children with diverse physical, emotional, intellectual or health needs:
• Support: have a child born prematurely:
• Grieve: are grieving the death of a child:
• Serve: We serve Alleghany, Ashe, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yancey Counties in the NC "High Country".

Our Vision is to touch every family in our community who needs our support.

💰 Funds Raised Will Help:

• Connections: One-on-one connections among families who know the joys and challenges of raising a child with special needs.
• Support Groups: Support groups where families come together to share ideas and information, laugh, cry, and support each other.
• Workshops: Workshops where families gain new skills to help them help their children.

📅 Event Details

• Race Date: November 16, 2024
• Course Description: The in-person race will take place on the campus of Appalachian State University. For the virtual race, participants can complete their distance on the course of their choosing.

👕 Registration Info

Register by November 1, 2024, to be guaranteed a T-shirt!

2024 T-Shirt Pickup and Mailing

We will send out an email with dates, times, and locations for t-shirt pickup.

For virtual participants, if you chose to have your shirt mailed, there will be a $6.00 fee added to your registration.
