Run for Rainbow: 5k and Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

We are excited for you to join us for a 5k run and 1 mile walk to raise money and awareness for the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital through our Foundation's Associate Board. The vision of the Associate Board is to be a highly visible and innovative volunteer organization of committed, creative and entrepreneurial young professionals who contribute to the long-term sustainability of UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital by generating awareness, involvement and development of leadership among the next generation.

📅 Important Dates

• Registration Deadline: Register by Friday, August 1 to receive a t-shirt on race day.
• Race Day: Sunday, August 16, 2025

• Registration/Packet Pick Up: 7:00am
• Kids Fun Run (100 yard dash): 8:00am
• 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk: 8:30am

📝 Registration Information

• Pre-Registration Ends: August 13, 2025
• Race Fees: 5K - $35, 1 Mile not timed - $30, Kids Fun Run - $15.00
• Mail Entries To: Hermes Sports & Events, 2425 West 11th St. Suite #2, Cleveland, Ohio 44113
• Race Day Registration: Starts at 7:00am

🎽 Participant Benefits

• T-shirt: A short-sleeved t-shirt and post-race refreshments.
• Zoo Admission: Enjoy the Zoo and Rainforest all day!
• Wristband Requirement: MUST PICK UP YOUR WRISTBAND AT REGISTRATION (PRIOR TO 830AM) AND ENTER THE ZOO BY 11AM.
• Reminder: Register before Friday, August 1 to receive a t-shirt on race day.

👥 Supporters

• Supporter Wristband: $12 (cash or check).
• Age Requirement: All supporters age 2 and over will need to purchase a wristband.
• Collection of Wristbands: Must collect prior to 8:30am from the registration table.
• Strollers: Allowed, but no dogs permitted in the zoo.

🏆 Awards

5K Awards will be given to the top 3 men and top 3 women overall.

💰 Refund and Transfer Policy

All entries are non-refundable. Once we’ve received and processed your entry, you will not receive a refund, you may not give or sell your race number to other people, and entry fees are not transferable to the next year’s race or any other race.
