Event Overview

• Organization: Run 5 Feed 5 is a 501c3 organization that hosts events throughout the year.
• Mission: Our mission started in 2013 with the hope of raising money and awareness for the dire childhood hunger problem in our communities.
• Current Statistics: Right now in North Carolina, one out of every four children is going hungry.
• Goals: Our goal is to fight that statistic!

Program Expansion

• Backpack Pals: We fund the Backpack Pals program through COAT, providing food for local food insecure children.
• Food Delivery: For the past 9 years, we have delivered food to over 500 children locally during the summer and extended breaks.
• Grants: We provide grants to schools to assist with lunch accounts for hungry children.
• Food Bank: In 2021, we opened a food bank for schools to get snacks for hungry children.

Event Details

• Date & Time: The 13th Annual RUN 5 FEED 5 will take place at Creekside Park on April 18, 2026 at 8am.
• Entry Fee: The 5K entry fee will be $30 per person.
• Included: Entry includes a custom t-shirt and the opportunity to connect with the community.
• Participation: There is a place for everyone to participate, whether by volunteering or walking/running in the event.

Sponsorship Opportunities

• Sponsorship: Companies can support by providing funds in the form of an event sponsorship or grant.
• Donations: Contributions can also include goods for runner “goody” bags or specific services for our event.
• Deadlines: Sponsorships must be secured by April 4, 2026 for placement on promotional materials.
