🌱 Race Overview

Support local natural areas and wildlife at the Rock Springs Ramble, featuring a 5K Run/Walk, a 1-mile Run/Walk, the Rock Springs Ramble Challenge, and 1/4 mile Kids' Fun Run!

💵 Fundraiser Purpose

This fundraiser supports the Macon County Conservation Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps fund natural area restoration and educational programs at the Macon County Conservation District, and its Rock Springs Nature Center.

🏅 Participant Benefits

• Included items: Those registered for the 5K and 1-mile Run/Walk will receive a finisher's medal, t-shirt, and a tote bag.
• Awards: Hand-painted wildlife rocks (created by local artist Sheryl Polley) will be awarded to top 3 finishers in 5 year age groups up to 70 and over.
• Kids' Fun Run: Children registered for the Kids' Fun Run will receive a tree cookie medal.
• Post-race: After the run, join us for a pizza lunch!

🗓️ Race Details

• Course Location: The 5K and 1-mile Run/Walk will begin and end in the Rock Springs Nature Center parking lot, on the paved Rock Springs-Fairview Bike Path.
• Challenge Qualification: To qualify for the Rock Springs Ramble Challenge, participants must participate in both the 5K and the 1-mile.
• Registration Fees: $35 for 5K Run/Walk, $35 for 1-mile Run/Walk, and $10 for the Kids' Fun Run.
• Important Date: Register by April 18th to receive T-shirt, bag and finishers medal on race day.

📅 Registration Information

Online and race day registration is available. Online registration closes May 16th at 1pm.

Race packets and race swag will be available beginning May 16th. Registered participants may pick up their items inside Rock Springs Nature Center, any time during Nature Center hours (8am-5pm).
