Healthy Living: Participating in the Kirby Derby is a great way to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle while having fun.
Charity: All the proceeds go to the development of the Wellness Trail provided by the Kirby Foundation.

T-shirt Deadline: The T-shirt deadline is 11:59pm cst on April 3, 2026!
Registration Details
Onsite Registration: Registration will be open until 7:30am on race morning, however there will be no cash registration available at the park on race morning.
Same Day Registration: Same day registration will be completed on your mobile device.
Event Switch Deadline: If you need to switch events, the deadline to do so is 12pm the day before the race.
Bib and Shirt Pickup: Bib and shirt pickup will be Friday from 4-5:30pm or on race morning 6:45-7:45am at the park pavilion.
Race Day Schedule
Announcements: Announcements and National Anthem will be at 7:45am.
Race Start: The race will start promptly at 8am.
Course Information: Please note that this is not a closed course: we do our best to inform the community and encourage alternate routes.
Volunteers: We will have a volunteer at every intersection to help guide participants and stop any oncoming traffic.
Water Stations
Station Locations: We will have two water stations available this year.
First Stop: The first water stop will be by Nick's Park.
Second Stop: The second will be by Monticello Laundry: 10K runners will pass the second stop twice.
Hydration: Ensure you stay hydrated during the race!
Awards Ceremony
5K Awards: The 5K award ceremony will start at approximately 9am.
10K Awards: The 10K awards will follow immediately after the 5K awards.
