Race Overview
Participating in the Kirby Derby is a great way to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle while having fun. All the proceeds go to the development of the Wellness Trail provided by the Kirby Foundation. For more information and online registration click on the links above.
Important Dates
- T-shirt Deadline: 11:59pm cst on April 3, 2026!
- Registration Open: Until 7:30am on race morning.
- Event Change Deadline: 12pm the day before the race.
Pickup Information
Bib and shirt pickup will be Friday from 4-5:30pm or on race morning 6:45-7:45am. Both will take place at the park pavilion.
Race Day Details
- Announcements: National Anthem will be at 7:45am.
- Race Start: Promptly at 8am.
- Course Information: This is not a closed course: volunteers will assist at intersections.
Water Stations
We will have two water stations available this year. The first water stop will be by Nick's Park and the second will be by Monticello Laundry. 10K runners will pass the second stop twice.
Award Ceremonies
The 5K award ceremony will start at approximately 9am with the 10K awards immediately following.
