Please join us for the Race for Glory 5K Fun Run & 1-Mile Walk taking place on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, at Buckeye Woods Park.
👥 Event Coordination
- Presented by: Thomas Schmidt (race director) as well as race board members from The Society: Medina County Special Olympics, Ohio: Integrated Community Solutions and the Knights of Columbus Council #4168.
⏰ Race Day Details
- Packet Pick-Up: Registration starts at 8:00am.
- 5K Start Time: Begins at 9:00am.
- 1-Mile Walk: Starts immediately following the 5K.
- Timing: Both races are professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.
🏆 Awards
Awards presented to the top 5K male and female runners overall and the top three 5K male and female runners in the following age categories:
- Age Categories: (14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Up).
