Pumpkin Run 10K, 5K & 1Mile

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us on Saturday, October 11th for our 39th Anniversary PUMPKIN RUN 10K, 5K & 1Mile run/walk event through the beautiful Lynn Creek Park surrounded by Joe Pool Lake.

Activities Include:

• Pancake Breakfast: FREE for all participants
• Family Fun: Face painting and pumpkin decorating
• Exciting Racing: Remote control drag racing track
• Community Support: Proceeds donated to local charities

Participating Schools: Local K-12 schools welcome - make it a Fundraiser!

Important Notice: Once the 1 mile race starts, Lynn Creek gates will be CLOSED at 8AM and OPENED ONLY AFTER the race has finished and runners are off the course.

📅 Packet Pickup Information

Early Packet Pickup:

Days: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9 AND FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10 FROM 4PM - 7PM EACH EVENING

Location: EPIC NUTRITION, 3154 S SH 161 FRONTAGE ROAD, SUITE 630, GRAND PRAIRIE 75052

Race Day Packet Pickup:

Location: At the Registration table under the BIG white tent

🤝 Volunteer Opportunities

We invite volunteers for:

• Packet Pickup: Arrive by 4:15pm to help distribute packets
• Aid Station: Provide water and maintain a clean course
• Course Monitor: Ensure safety and guide participants

Feel free to bring pom pom, horns, music, instruments, signs, etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!

Park entry is FREE.

📃 Refund/Cancellation Policy

Policy Details:

• No Refund: Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine.
• Delays Possible: Start time may be delayed by up to 30 minutes due to extreme weather.
• Safety First: Events may be canceled in unsafe weather conditions.
• Alternative Option: Participants unable to join can still receive their packet, shirt, and medal.
