Tax season is here, and we think drinking beer should be tax deductible! Get your paperwork in order and filed early, then celebrate at the Peticolas Running Club social run/walk. Hopefully you've earned a refund to use on your beer fund! Do you know what is tax free? Running and walking!

Following the social run/walk and until 2:00 PM, you will be able to pick up your race packet for the MIGHTY Velvet Hammer 5K too!
🕘 Check-In Information
- Check-in hours: Between 8AM-9AM.
- Group start: Join the 'group' start at 8:30AM or start your run/walk at your leisure.
- Arrival: Please arrive by 9AM as check-in ends promptly at 9AM.
- Trail amenities: Mile markers and bottled water will be provided (there is no water on the course).
🥤 Social Run Details
The social run includes the run/walk, a custom branded pint glass, three brews, and tacos from THAT TACO DUDE breakfast. The three Peticolas brews can be enjoyed however you like: in the Taproom as drafts or take them to go in any combination.
⏰ Social Run Schedule
- 8:00 AM-9:00 AM: Check in and start the social run/walk (rolling start).
- 8:30 AM: Group Start (if you want to run with a group).
- 8:45 AM: Velvet Hammer 5K packet pick-up opens.
- 2:00 PM: Velvet Hammer 5K packet pick-up ends.
📋 Notes & Tips
- Check-in: Between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the day of the social run/walk.
- Group start: 8:30 AM, please check in before this time.
- Weather: Social runs/walks are rain or shine: we'll enjoy food and drinks indoors if needed.
- Kids & Pets: Kids in strollers are welcome and always free: no dogs due to liability reasons.
💵 Registration & Ticket Pricing
Purchase tickets online for $30, all transactions are done online. Social Run Includes: tacos from THAT TACO DUDE, three delicious brews from Peticolas, and a custom Peticolas social run branded glass. The social runs/walks are rain or shine, and there are no refunds or advance packet pick up. If you don't pick up your social run goodies between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, you lose it, no exceptions.
