ORRRC Xenia Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 10K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Race Options: The ORRRC Xenia Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 10K are scenic, fast courses through the town of Xenia, Ohio!
• Community Tradition: The race has been a community tradition that has been going strong for over 50 years!
• Continuous Improvement: Every year we learn and grow based on feedback from the previous year's event and we’re positive 2025 will be our best event yet.
• Join Us: We hope you’ll run with us in 2025!

🗺️ Course Details

• Course Layout: The races run concentric paths, with the same start, turn-offs for the half-marathon and 10K, and the same finish line!
• Start Location: The course starts at the Xenia YMCA, then runs into downtown Xenia before taking a tour of some of its neighborhoods.
• Scenic Route: The route uses a mix of scenic rail-trail and neighborhood streets to get you home to the finish line!
• Certification: Our marathon course continues to be a certified Boston Qualifier event!

📅 Packet Pick-Up

• Times: Saturday (April 5th): 1pm-5pm AND Sunday (April 6th): 6am-7:30am
• Location: Xenia YMCA - 336 Progress Dr, Xenia, OH 45385
• Be Prepared: Ensure to pick up your packet during these hours to have a smooth race experience.

👕 Race Shirts

• Eco-Friendly Option: We’re taking a more environmentally friendly approach to our race shirts.
• Decline Option: Every participant can decline a race shirt when registering, receiving a $10 discount off the registration fee!
• Shirt Availability: If you do want a shirt, we have a Carbon Free Certified tri-blend shirt available in both unisex and women’s cuts.
• Closet Space: We understand that sometimes there just isn’t room in the closet for another race shirt.

❤️ Charitable Benefits

• Non-Profit Status: The ORRRC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, with a mission to encourage running and walking throughout the Miami Valley and Dayton region!
• Funding Support: This race supports us in that mission, providing funds to enable several youth running programs in the area.
• Scholarships: We also provide educational scholarships to deserving members of our running community.
• Additional Donations: Participants can make additional donations to the ORRRC Community & Scholarship fund through RunSignUp.

🍽️ Food & Amenities

• Post-Race Party: Our race has a wonderful post-race party with warm food items and standard race fare!
• Snack Options: In 2025, we’ll strive to offer an even better selection of finish line snacks for our athletes!
• Stay Hydrated: Standard offerings will include water, bananas, energy drinks, soda, and more!
