🏅 Officer Christopher Reeves Scholarship 5K
The Officer Christopher Reeves Scholarship 5K will take place on May 3, 2025, at Rieck Avenue School, Millville, NJ. Join us to honor Officer Reeves, who was killed in the line of duty on July 8th, 2012, leaving behind his wife, son, family, and many friends. Since 2014, the Millville Police Department has chosen to honor Chris (Superman) in a special way with a scholarship in his name. The funds raised from this event are awarded to graduating seniors from Millville Senior High School to continue their education. Additional contributions to the Officer Christopher Reeves Scholarship Fund can be made at the "Donate" tab.

- Awards: Given to the Top 3 Female & Male Overall and in Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, and 10 year AG up to 70+
🗓️ Registration
- Deadline: Register by April 15 to be guaranteed a Commemorative T-Shirt
- Race Day: Registration will open at 8:00 am and close at 8:45. Pre-registered Check-in will stay open until 8:55
- Weather Policy: This race is RAIN OR SHINE

- Walkers: Will finish in the cemetery at Chris's gravesite and will be shuttled back to the start line (at Rieck Ave).
- Distance: Please note that the walk will be approx. 1.5 miles due to the change in venue.
