🏃♂️ Race Overview
Founded in 1907, the 117th New Orleans Athletic Club's Turkey Day Race stands as the fifth oldest continuous race in the United States. The race begins and ends at Tad Gormley Stadium in New Orleans City Park, featuring a 5-Mile and a Kids' half-mile run/walk in the morning. It has become a cherished holiday tradition for families across the nation, with several generations returning annually to participate. Proceeds from the event are donated to Spina Bifida of Louisiana.
🥧 Special Race Perks
- Sweet Potato Pie: All registered participants will receive a "Sweet Potato" pie from Hubig's!
- First Time Offering: This is the first time since 2011 that the beloved fan favorite flavor will be available this fall.
- Race Bib Reward: Pull tab on race bib gets you free pie, so make sure not to lose it.
📦 Packet Pickup Information
Early packet pickup is strongly encouraged for 117th NOAC Turkey Day Race participants. This opportunity is to secure your race bib, participant shirt, poster art (if purchased), a free Ka' Chava protein offer, and a bag of Mahatma Chipotle Jasmine Rice. Those participants who register on race day are not guaranteed a race shirt. More info HERE.
⏰ Race Day Schedule
- 7:00 AM: Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup Opens
- 8:00 AM: Kids Half Mile Race Begins
- 8:30 AM: 5 Mile Run / Walk Begins
T-Shirt availability and sizes aren't guaranteed for anyone registering after November 26th.
