Minooka Summerfest 5k

🏃‍♂️ Registration

• Online: Online registration is $35.00 plus online fee. See links below. Registrations after the June 2nd will be $40.00. Online registration closes June 12th.
• Friday Night & Race Day: $40.00
• Details: Registration and packet pickup will be held on Friday, June 13th from 6:00pm till 8:00pm AND on race day from 6:30am to 7:30am under the big tent at the corner of Wabena Ave. and Mondamin St. Please pay by cash or checks payable to Minooka Lions Club.

📅 Race Day

• Date: Saturday, June 14th, 2025
• Registration: 6:45am to 7:45am
• Start Time: 5k Run begins at 8:00am

🏞️ Course

• Type: Out and back, 5k (3.1 miles).
• Split Times: at 1 and 2 miles.
• Water: Available at the finish, and on the course.
• Condition: Race will be held on closed village streets, paved and rolling hills.

👥 Age Categories

• 11-14
• 15-19
• 20-24
• 25-29
• 30-34
• 35-39
• 40-44
• 45-49
• 50-54
• 55-59
• 60-64
• 65-69
• 70 and above.

🏆 Awards

• Categories: First Overall Male and Female, and top 2 in each age category.
• Ceremony: Will be held after the kid’s races in the registration tent.
• Raffle Prizes: Will be drawn based on bib numbers. We’re giving away over $200 worth of gift certificates, so please stick around.

⏱️ Chip Timing

• System: Professional race chip timing by J3 Timing.
• Results: Will be posted on www.j3timing.com by Sunday, June 15th and on the Minooka Lions Club website.

📍 Directions from I-80

• Exit: Exit at Ridge Road (Exit 122).
• Route: Go south to McEvilly Road, turn left. Left onto Wabena Avenue.
• Arrive: Proceed north to registration tent, just past the train tracks.
