Military Heroes 5k/10k Run

🏅 Race Overview

Military Heroes Run is celebrating our 13th Annual Run. We raise much needed funds to support America's fighting service veterans who have suffered injuries while defending the freedoms which we all enjoy. We have raised and donated over $2 million in our 12 years of hosting this event. Thank you to all who have run with us, volunteered with us, and for our amazing sponsors. We are looking forward to another great year!

📅 Date and Location

• Date: August 16, 2025
• Location: Solana Blvd and Hwy 114, Westlake, TX
• Address: 1301 Solana Blvd, Westlake, Texas 76262
• Parking: We will use a parking structure (garage B) and the south side of Garage B. There is NO parking at the event site, you need to park in the designated lot and walk across the street.

🏃‍♂️ Race Course Description

The 5k course is not certified and is closer to 3.4 miles. The 5k course is a loop with some shade. The 10k course will follow the 5k until the 1 mile then branch off along the trail a different direction out and back, joining back with the 5k course. The 10k is hilly with some shade.

⏱️ Timing and Awards

• Chip-Timed Event: The 5k & 10k will be electronically timed by DoMore Race Services. All participants will be given a bib with a disposable chip attached.
• Fun Run: Participants are not chip timed.
• Finisher Medals: For All participants.
• Age Group Awards: For each Distance, including Overall and Master finishers in various age categories.

📋 Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will be held at Bear Creek Running Co., 121 Rufe Snow Dr. #103, Keller, TX 76248 on the following dates:

• Thursday, 8/15: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Friday, 8/16: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
