Milford Campus Bridgeport Hospital Mother's Day 5K Run/Walk, 3K - Walkers only and Kids Fun Run

🌷 Participant Limit

• Limit: THIS YEAR WE WILL BE LIMITING OUR PARTICIPANT NUMBER TO 650. We hope you’ll register early and in time.
• Safety: Once closed we cannot add on. We do not want to compromise safety and the space we can utilize. Thank you for understanding.

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

• History: For over thirty years the Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus has hosted a Mother's Day Run and Walk to promote wellness and health. All abilities are invited to join us as we celebrate this special day!
• Proceeds: Proceeds from this year’s Mother’s Day 5K Run/Walk will support a new family waiting room for the Same Day Joint Replacement Surgery Center at Bridgeport Hospital's Milford Campus.
• Participation: Our 5K chip timed Run (or walk) and 3K Fitness Walk (untimed) begins and ends at the Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital.
• Walk Eligibility: You can RUN or WALK the entire 5K if you want to be timed and eligible for awards.

👶 Kids Fun Run

• Free Entry: We also offer a FREE, 1/10 mi Kids Fun Run prior to the start of the 5K. All kids 5th grade (10 years) and under can enter this non-competitive (no awards) fun run.
• Encouragement: We encourage all levels of participants for all of our events. Join us for a great start to Mother's Day.

🎽 SWAG and Registration

• Shirt and Food: All 5K and 3K participants will receive a specially designed shirt and plenty of food & fluids. Shirt size and availability can only be guaranteed to pre-registered attendees by April 27.
• Registration: The Kids run- held before the start of the 5k/3k- is FREE for 10yr old and under only. We do ask that you preregister them.
• Event Schedule: 2/12 Registration opens, 4/27 Guaranteed shirt size ends, 5/4 lower fee ends.
• Pickup Options: You can pickup for others as well on Friday 5/9 from 4pm to 6pm and Saturday 5/10 from 9am-noon.

🏅 Awards and Recognition

• Categories: We offer a variety of gift cards & medals. Male and Female 5K champions as well as in age groups 9 and under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, and ten year age groups through 70+.
• Special Awards: Mother/son, Mother/daughter teams. First and second place in age groups will receive Woodbridge Running Company gift cards.
• Medals: All age groups 18 and under will receive medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
• No Awards: Reminder- There are no awards for the untimed, 3k walk. Only 5k timed participants are eligible for awards.

🍽️ Post-Race Activities

• Sponsorship: Event Sponsorships are available. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of this great event please visit the Sponsor Registration.
• Lunch Options: When our festivities are over you can take a short walk and enjoy a Mom’s Day lunch at one of the many great restaurants in town!
