Milford Campus Bridgeport Hospital Mother's Day 5K Run/Walk, 3K - Walkers only and Kids Fun Run

🌼 Registration Limit

• Participant Limit: THIS YEAR WE WILL BE LIMITING OUR PARTICIPANT NUMBER TO 650. We hope you’ll register early and in time.
• Safety First: Once closed we cannot add on. We do not want to compromise safety and the space we can utilize. Thank you for understanding.

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

• Duration: For over thirty years the Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus has hosted a Mother’s Day Run and Walk to promote wellness and health.
• All Abilities: All abilities are invited to join us as we celebrate this special day!
• Proceeds: Proceeds from this year’s Mother’s Day 5K Run/Walk will support a new family waiting room for the Same Day Joint Replacement Surgery Center at Bridgeport Hospital's Milford Campus.

🏅 Race Details

• 5K Run/Walk: Our 5K chip timed Run (or walk) and 3K Fitness Walk (untimed) begins and ends at the Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital.
• Participation: You can RUN or WALK the entire 5K if you want to be timed and eligible for awards.
• 3K Walk: Our 3K walk (1.8mi) will not be timed.
• Kids Fun Run: We also offer a FREE, 1/10 mi Kids Fun Run prior to the start of the 5K. All kids 5th grade (10 years) and under can enter this non-competitive (no awards) fun run.

🎽 SWAG and Courses

• SWAG: All 5K and 3K participants will receive a specially designed shirt and plenty of food & fluids. Shirt size and availability can only be guaranteed to pre-registered attendees by April 27.

• Safety Reminder: We ask all 3K participants to be SAFE and use all sidewalks wherever available.

💰 Registration Fees

• Adult Fee: $35 (19 and over) until 5/4.
• Youth Fee: $15 (18 and under) until 5/4.
• Late Registration: $40 (19 and over) and $20 (18 and under) from 5/5 - 5/11.
• Kids Run: FREE for 10yr old and under only. Preregistration is requested.

📅 Event Schedule

• Registration Opens: 2/12.
• Guaranteed Shirt Size: Ends 4/27.
• Lower Fee Ends: 5/4, increases 5/5-5/11.
• Bib & Shirt Pickup: Friday 5/9 from 4pm to 6pm: Saturday 5/10 from 9am-noon.

🏆 Race Day Schedule

• Check-In: 7:45-9am.
• Kids Fun Run: 8:45am - Two laps safely in the registration lot.
• Start Times: 9:00am for 5K Run and 3K Walk.
• Awards: 10:00am for timed 5K participants.

🔖 Awards

• Categorization: We offer a variety of gift cards & medals for male and female champions, as well as age groups.
• Special Awards: Mother/son, Mother/daughter teams.
• Medals: All age groups 18 and under will receive medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
• Gift Cards: Woodbridge RC $25 gift cards to Male and Female champions.
