🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

• Community Tradition: For over thirty years the Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus has hosted a Mother’s Day Run and Walk to promote wellness and health.
• All Abilities Welcome: All abilities are invited to join us as we celebrate this special day!
• Charity Support: Proceeds from this year’s Mother’s Day 5K Run/Walk will support a new family waiting room for the Same Day Joint Replacement Surgery Center at Bridgeport Hospital's Milford Campus.

🎉 Events

• 5K Run/Walk: Our 5K chip timed Run (or walk) and 3K Fitness Walk (untimed) both begin and end at the Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital. You must RUN or WALK the entire 5K if you want to be computer timed and eligible for awards.
• 3K Walk: Our 3K walk (1.8mi) is not timed.
• Kids Fun Run: Our FREE, 1/10 mi Kids Fun Run is prior to the start of the 5K. All kids 5th grade (10 years) and under can enter this non-competitive (no awards) fun run.
• Encouragement: We encourage all levels of participants for all of our events. Join us for a great start to Mother's Day!

💵 Race and Walk Fees

• Adult 19 and older: $35 (2/14-2/28), $40 (3/1 - 5/3), $45 (5/4 - 5/10)
• Youth 18 and under: $20 for all time periods
• Kids Run: Held before the start of the 5K/3K and is FREE for 10 years old and under only.
• Pre-registration: We do ask that you preregister them, so we may prepare for everyone!

🎁 SWAG

• Participant Perks: All 5K and 3K participants will receive a specially designed shirt and plenty of food & fluids.
• Shirt Size Guarantee: Shirt size and availability can only be guaranteed to pre-registered attendees by April 26.
• Ordering Deadline: After that orders must be placed to ensure on time delivery: we might even run out!

• Course Description: Both courses are very flat and have scenic views as you travel past Long Island Sound. Our 5K course is accurately measured and well marked with mile splits.
• Safety Measures: Police and volunteers on the course will help keep you safe as you run or walk through the picturesque neighborhood.

📅 Event Schedule

• 2/14: Registration opens
• 4/26: Guaranteed shirt size ends
• 5/3: Lower fee ends, increases 5/4-5/10
• Early Bib & Shirt Pickup: Friday 5/8 from 3pm to 6pm and Saturday 5/9 from 9am-noon.

🏆 Awards

• Championships: Male and Female 5K champions as well as in age groups (9 and under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, and ten year age groups through 80+).
• Special Awards: Mother/son, Mother/daughter teams: First, second, and third place in age groups (19-80+).
• Medal Recipients: All age groups 18 and under will receive medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
• Gift Card Incentive: Woodbridge RC $25 gift cards to Male and Female champions!
