🏃♂️ Mighty Mile Overview
- Event: The Mighty Mile is for kids only ages 5 to 14 years old.
- Location: Carman Ainsworth Middle School, 1409 W. Maple Avenue, Flint, MI.
- Date: May 28, 2025.
- Registration: Online registration only is required.
🎉 Event Highlights
- Free Entry: There is no entry fee to run the Mighty Mile.
- Swag: All runners will receive a T-shirt, Backpack, and a chipped timed accurate mile.
- Finisher Medals: Each runner will receive a Mighty Mile Finisher Medal upon crossing the finish line.
- Participant Limit: The race is limited to the first 200 participants. Register early!
📅 Race Schedule
- Race 1: 6:00pm | 5 - 7 year olds
- Race 2: 6:20pm | 8 - 9 year olds
- Race 3: 6:40pm | 10 - 11 year olds
- Race 4: 6:55pm | 12 - 14 year olds
🏅 Results and Awards
- Timing: This race will be electronically timed using the disposable tag system on the bib number.
- Results: Results will be available immediately after the race and will be posted on the event website.
- Awards: There are no awards for the race, but every runner receives a Mighty Mile medal.
- Goal: The purpose is for the runner to challenge themselves and start a healthy lifestyle.
🏁 Course Information
- Course: The start and finish is on the Carman Ainsworth Middle School Track.
- Route: The first 1/4 mile of the race is on the track, followed by a loop on school grounds, finishing with a 1/4 mile on the track.
- Support: Members of the Carman Ainsworth High School Track team will be present to provide encouragement.
- Parental Participation: Parents are welcome to run with their child.
💧 Important Information
- Packet Pick Up: On race day at the Carman Ainsworth Middle School Track starting at 5:45 pm.
- Water: Bring water for your child: there will not be water available at the race.
- Registration: Must be done online prior to the race: no registrations will be taken on race day.
