- Peak Colors: October is the peak of fall colors at Independence Oaks.
- Beautiful Trails: Enjoy running and walking through wonderfully decorated hardwood forests.
- Wood Chip Paths: The course features wood chip trails for a natural running experience.
- Multiple Distances: Choose from three races of varying lengths, all starting and ending at the same location.
🏃♀️ Race Options
- 2.5 Mile Race: A single circuit around Crooked Lake with rolling hills.
- 5.5 Mile Race: A challenging second lap around the lake that branches off onto Rock Ridge Trail.
- 8.5 Mile Race: The longest option includes a third lap, continuing onto Spring Lake Trail.
- For the Brave: The 8.5 Mile race is not for the faint of heart.
