🌲 Event Overview

Come out to the 2nd race in the 2025 kids only trail series, Where the Wild Ones Run! Check out our website for all event details: Kids Trail Series

• Experience: We believe that kids should experience the joy, challenge and accomplishment of running through the woods.
• Fun: Doing something hard, like running, can be fun, rewarding and help foster self confidence and self esteem.
• Trail Variety: Our 3 race series introduces a variety of trails to the runners.
• Course Details: The course starts flat and hard packed, turning into a mountain bike trail with twists, turns, roots, and rocks!

🏅 Race Format & Distances

The planned schedule is to start the youngest age first at 9am, then approximately 15 minutes later we'll start the 6-9 year olds and the 10-13 year olds about 20 minutes later.

• Awards: Awards for each age group will follow each race.
• Race Distances: 0.6 miles for 3-5yr olds, 1.8 miles for 6-9yr olds, and 3.2 miles for 10-13yr olds.

🎖️ What's Included

• Finishers Medal: Every kid will receive an awesome wooden finisher's medal.
• Awards: Awards will be presented to the top 3 girls and boys in each age group.
• Refreshments: Post-race refreshments will be served.
• Timing: Every racer will be timed with race bibs.

💰 Registration & Sponsorship

Registration fee: $30

• Waiver: Parents can run with their children, just need to sign a waiver (one parent per child).
• Barrier Assistance: Contact carrie@elevateeventcompany.com for sponsored entries if the registration fee is a barrier.
• Sponsorship: To sponsor a child, email heather@elevateeventcompany.com or choose the "sponsor a wild one" option when registering.
• Donations: We are collecting donations for the S.T.U.F.F. Bus including new running shoes for kids that need financial help.

🛑 Course Information

• Volunteers: We will have volunteers on the course to help keep the kids on track.
• Course Markings: The courses will be marked with orange pin flags.
