🤝 A Partnership for Progress
A Cure In Sight collaborates with leading research facilities and dedicated physicians that specialize in Ocular Melanoma treatment. Together, we channel the net proceeds from these events into ongoing research projects and patient support programs.
- Community: Walk shoulder-to-shoulder with Ocular Melanoma survivors, their families, and the medical professionals who care for them.
- Research Funding: Your involvement directly contributes to advancing the quest for a cure.
- Venue: Byers Eye Institute at Stanford University School of Medicine.
- Support: Proceeds from this event will support the Stanford Ocular Oncology Program.
🏅 Race Participation
All ages are welcome to attend. Come run, walk, or stay in one place and play games at the Third Annual Lookin' for a Cure 5K at Stanford.
- Team Setup: Set up your team, invite your friends and family, and start your fundraiser.
- Care Leadership: Stanford is a national leader in providing state-of-the-art care for ocular melanoma patients.
- Medical Leadership: Prithvi Mruthyunjaya, MD, MHS, anchors the ocular tumor service at Stanford.
- Awareness: Spread the word about the importance of early detection by getting regular dilated eye exams.

📅 Event Details
Packet pick up will be held at Road Runner Sports San Carlos located at: 1125 Industrial Rd, San Carlos, CA 94070 on Friday, July 12th, 2024 from 4PM to 7PM.

- Finisher Medal: All participants will receive one.
- Refreshments: Food & Drink provided.

- Registration: Begins at 7 AM.
- Race Start: Commences at 8 AM.
- Awards Announcement: Begins at 9:30 AM.
Free parking is available in the Byers Eye Institute parking lot on the corner of Embarcadero Rd. and Bayshore Rd.
