Here are a few points you need to keep in mind before registering for the Last Chance Mile.
❄️ Weather Considerations
- Off-season Staffing: Lakeshore Park is not staffed daily during the off-season.
- Snow Conditions: If we get hammered with snow, there will be no plowing or salting of the park roads.
- Cancellation Policy: In the event of very bad weather on race morning, we may have to cancel the event for safety.
- Rescheduling Attempts: We will make one attempt to reschedule to January 4, 2025. If we are unable to complete the event, participants will transfer to a virtual event. No refunds.
🏃♂️ Event Outlook
With all this being said, we live in Northeast Ohio, it snows. If we only get a few inches of fresh snowfall with no widespread surface icing, we fully intend to move forward with the event.
