• Event: The Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue 5K Meow-A-Thon and 1 Mile Whisker Walk
• Date: Saturday, May 10, 2025
• Location: Veterans Park, 4800 Valleydale Road, Hoover, AL
• Benefit: Proceeds support Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue, a no-kill, cage-free shelter for cats and kittens.

🏃‍♀️ Race Details

• Format: 5k race and 1 mile fun run/walk
• Terrain: Varied terrain including fields, trails, and pavement
• Weather Policy: The race will be held rain or shine: delays may occur in severe weather
• Check-in: Begins at 7:00 am: 5K starts at 8:00 am, Whisker Walk starts at 9:30 am

💰 Registration Fees

• 5K Meow-A-Thon: $25 (children 10 and under: $15)
• 1 Mile Whisker Walk/Run: $15 (children 10 and under: $5)
• Day of Race Fees: $30 for 5K (children 10 and under: $20): $20 for Whisker Walk (children: $10)
• Online Registration: Available until midnight May 9, 2025

📅 Packet Pickup

• Date & Time: Friday, May 9, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 6 pm
• Location: Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue, 3432 Old Columbiana Rd, Birmingham, AL 35226
• Saturday Pickup: Available starting at 7 am on race day at Veterans Park
• In-Person Registration: Available during packet pickup hours

👕 T-Shirt Information

• Shirt Purchase: Available through the Race Store: no shipping option
• Size Guarantee: Not guaranteed for signups after April 19th
• Pickup Location: At the Haven or on race day
• Opt-out: If not participating, shirts can still be ordered

• Overall Prizes: Awards for 1st through 3rd male and female finishers in the 5K
• Age Group Awards: For male and female 1st through 3rd finishers
