Kids & Cops Doughnut Run-5K/1Mile Fun Run

🍩 Event Overview

• Purpose: In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Brightpoint and the Granite City Police Department invite you to participate in our race to end child abuse.
• Benefit: Proceeds from this event will benefit the programs and services offered by the Southern Region of Brightpoint.
• Activities: Join us for refreshments, music, kid's activities, and a photo opportunity with our mascot, The GIANT Doughnut Man!
• Location: The event will be held at Wilson Park in Granite City, IL, with the start and finish on 29th Street near Park Pavilion #5.

🏃‍♂️ Registration Details

• Fees: $30 for ages 19+, $10 for ages 6-18, and 5 & under free. Registration includes a t-shirt for those who register by April 10th.
• Deadline: Online registration ends at 11:59pm on April 23rd. After this, participants must register on-site from 8am to 9am on race day.
• Check-In: Race day check-in will occur from 8am-9am at Park Pavilion #5.
• Kickoff: Welcome and intro begin at 9:15am, with the 5K and Fun Run kicking off at 9:30am.

🏅 Awards & Medals

• Competitive Awards: Offered only to 5K participants aged 6 and over, including categories for overall male and female and top finishers in multiple age groups.
• Finisher’s Medals: Available to all participants of the 5K and Fun Run.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Guaranteed for registrations completed by April 10th: limited availability after this date.
• Basket Raffle: Purchase tickets on race day for a chance to win baskets filled with fun items and gift cards!

📸 Photography & Cancellation Policy

• Photo Disclaimer: A photographer will be on site. Photos may be posted on social media or used in promotional materials.
• Cancellation Policy: In the case of inclement weather, registration fees are non-refundable and will become a donation to support children in need.
• Notification: We will notify pre-registrants before their arrival in case of last-minute cancellations.
