Purpose: In honor of the third copy of the twenty-first chromosome, the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis invites you to run an in-person or virtual 5K (plus a little extra!) to support the Down Syndrome Association.
Celebration: Run for 21 celebrates the amazing lives of people with Down syndrome. The race coincides with the association's largest celebration of the year - Step Up for Down Syndrome.
Beneficiary: All proceeds will benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis!
Event Details: The run will start and end in the Upper Muny Parking Lot in Forest Park by the Step Up for Down Syndrome celebration. There will also be a virtual 3.21 mile option.
👕 Race Amenities
T-Shirt: Race shirt provided to participants.
Finisher Medal: Participants will receive a finisher medal.
Celebration Access: Entry into the Step Up for Down Syndrome celebration.
Breakfast: Ticket to an unlimited pancake breakfast by Chris Cakes!
📝 Registration Information
Registration Deadline: Participants must register by April 25th to guarantee they receive a shirt.
Shirt Pickup: All shirts will be available at the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis office on June 5th, 6th, and 7th.
Shipping Option: Virtual participants can pay $7 to have their shirt and medal mailed.
Time Submission: If you can't run in-person, submit your time between June 6th and June 9th.
🏆 Awards and Participation
Final Results: Virtual results become final on June 10th.
Email Instructions: All participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit their times on race week.
Awards Eligibility: Only in-person participants are eligible for awards.
