Race begins and ends at the Independence Civic Center,
6363 Selig Rd., Independence – Brecksville Rd., West on Selig and turn right onto Kathy Lynn Drive. The Civic Center is on the left-hand side. Parking is available at the site.

• Registration/Packet Pick Up: 8:00am
• 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk: 9:00am

🏃‍♂️ Distance

• 5K Run/Walk: Chip Timed
• 1 Mile Walk: Untimed

Pre-Registration

• Deadline: By 9am on Friday, May 2nd
• Cost: $25.00
• Family Rate: $70 for 4 people from the same address
• Mailing Information: All mailed entries must be received by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Make checks payable to Hermes Sports &: Events and mail entries to:

Race Day Registration/Packet Pick Up

• Registration/Packet Pick Up: 8:00am
• 5k Run/Walk and 1 Walk: 9:00am

🎽 Participants Receive

• T-shirt: Registration includes a t-shirt: please register by April 19 to guarantee your shirt on race day! If registered after this date, subject to availability.
• Refreshments: Provided at the finish line.
• Raffle Ticket: Included with registration.
• Donations: You can donate through online registration or click on the link above for the print form. Feel free to just fill that portion of the form out if you cannot register.

Additionally, there will be a raffle on-site with prizes from local restaurants, movie theaters, and sponsoring companies. The Grand Prize will be provided by Diamonds Direct.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Award given to Top Overall Male and Female runners.
• Age Group Awards: Male and Female runners finishing in the top three in each age group will receive awards.
• Age Groups: 10 &: under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
• Note: Winners are responsible for obtaining their medals at the Independence Middle School if they are not present at the conclusion of the race.

🌍 Virtual Run

Want to participate from out of town? You still can! Complete the 5K race or 1 mile walk on your own. Run or walk, outdoors or on a treadmill – you choose!

If you would like to submit your 5K result, please click HERE! Deadline to submit times is Wednesday, May 7.

Virtual event participants can live anywhere! Please feel free to invite family and friends from around the country to join you.

You will be mailed your shirt prior to race week if registered by April 12. We encourage you to wear your shirt and take photographs of your virtual run/walk.
