The 23rd annual Jog into Spring - All proceeds benefit Renee Fontana Roche Memorial Scholarship/Garden Fund and Living Classroom.

📍 Location

Race begins and ends at the Independence Civic Center,
6363 Selig Rd., Independence – Brecksville Rd., West on Selig and turn right onto Kathy Lynn Drive. The Civic Center is on the left-hand side. Parking is available at the site.

⏰ Start Time

• Registration/Packet Pick Up: 8:00am
• 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk: 9:00am

🏃 Distance

• 5K Run/Walk: Chip Timed
• 1 Mile Walk: Untimed

📝 Registration

Pre-Registration

• Cost: $25.00
• Family Rate: $70 for 4 people from the same address
• Entry Deadline: All mailed entries must be received by Wednesday, April 30, 2025

Late Registration

• Cost: $30
• Deadline: After 9am on Friday May 2

🎽 Participants Receive

• T-Shirt: Registration includes a t-shirt, please register by April 19 to guarantee your shirt on race day!
• Refreshments: Provided at the finish line.
• Raffle Ticket: Included with registration.
• Donations: You are able to donate through online registration or click on the link above for the print form.

🏆 Awards

• Awards for: Top Overall Male and Female runners.
• Age Group Recognition: Top three in each age group receive awards.
• Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
• Note: Winners are responsible for obtaining their medals at the Independence Middle School if they are not present at the conclusion of the race.

🌍 Virtual Run

Want to participate from out of town? You still can! Complete the 5K race or 1 mile walk on your own. Run or walk, outdoors or on a treadmill – you choose!

• Result Submission: If you would like to submit your 5K result, please click HERE! Deadline to submit times is Wednesday, May 3.
• Participants: Can live anywhere! Feel free to invite family and friends from around the country to join you.
• T-Shirt Mailing: You will be mailed your shirt prior to race week if registered by April 12.
• Encouragement: We encourage you to wear your shirt and take photographs of your virtual run/walk.
