RACE DETAILS

💰 CASH PRIZES

• Top Finishers: The top 3 men and women in the 1/2 Marathon will win cash prizes.
• Prize Distribution: Minimum of $200, $150, and $125 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

🌅 SANDY HOOK - GATEWAY NATIONAL RECREATION AREA

• Historic Event: The Jersey Shore Half Marathon has a rich history, one of the oldest distance events in NJ, first held in 1972.
• USATF-Certified: This course is very flat and fast on a 2-loop layout!
• Scenic Location: Sandy Hook features a beautiful and historic landscape.
• First-Timers Welcome: Great place for first-time half-marathoners and fall marathon preparation.

👕 HALF MARATHON REGISTRATION

• Early Bird Pricing: $75 discount to the first 100 entrants from February 2-14, 2025.
• Registration Fees: $75 by February 14, $90 by June 30, $100 by October 3, $125 on race day.
• Participant Limit: This year's race is limited to 800 participants.

🚌 LATE REGISTRATION & PICK-UP

• Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 11:15 AM – 2 PM.
• Location: The Outpost Running & Walking Co., 32 Church Street, Little Silver, NJ.
• Encouragement: Participants should pick up their bibs to save time on race day.
• Random Giveaways: Will be held during packet pick-up.

📅 EVENT DAY SCHEDULE

• Date and Time: October 5, 2025, from 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM.
• Location: Sandy Hook, Lifesaving Station Between Lots D and E.
• Race Start Times: Half Marathon at 9:00 AM, 2 Mile at 9:05 AM.
• Awards Ceremony: Awards & giveaways at 11:30 AM at the Lifesaving Station.

🎉 POST-RACE PARTY

• Location: Off The Hook Restaurant, Highlands, NJ.
• Offer: One free domestic draft beer or soda with your pass.

🚫 SAFETY NOTES

• No Headphones: Please do not use headphones on the course for safety.
• Time Limit: There is a strict 3-hour time limit for the Half Marathon.
