📍 SANDY HOOK - GATEWAY NATIONAL RECREATION AREA

• Historic Event: The Jersey Shore Half Marathon has a rich history that makes it one of the oldest distance events held in New Jersey.
• Fast Course: This USATF-certified course is a very flat and fast 2-loop course!
• Scenic Location: Sandy Hook is a scenic and historic 6-mile strip of land between the Atlantic Ocean and Sandy Hook Bay.
• Great for All: Racing on Sandy Hook is friendly for first-time half-marathoners and a great way to prepare for your fall marathon!

👕 HALF MARATHON REGISTRATION

• Early Bird: $75 discount to the first 100 entrants from February 2-14, 2025.
• Registration Tiers: $75 by February 14, $90 by June 30, $100 by October 3, $125 on event day.
• Cap: This year's race is limited to 800 participants.
• 2 Mile Registration: $24 early registration available until March 31.

🕖 EVENT DAY SCHEDULE

• Event Date: October 5, 2025, from 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM.
• Start Location: Sandy Hook, Lifesaving Station Between Lots D and E.
• Half Marathon Start: 9:00 AM.
• Post-Race Party: Off The Hook Restaurant, Highlands, NJ.

🎉 COOL NEW HIGHLIGHTS IN 2025

• Pacers: Will be available for 1:30, 1:45, 2:00, and 2:15 paces.
• Tees: Long-sleeve Jersey Shore Half Marathon & 2 Mile race tees for all registrants.
• Special Discounts: With local merchants on race weekend.
• Lodging Partner: Sonesta Select of Eatontown available for participants.

🏆 AWARDS

• CASH PRIZES: To Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers.
• Age Group Awards: Custom awards to the Top 3 finishers in each 5-year age group.
• Participation Tee: All runners will receive a special long sleeve event tee and other giveaways.
• Finisher Medal: All 13.1 finishers will receive a custom Jersey Shore Half Marathon 2025 finisher medal.

• Time Limit: Strict 3 hour time limit on the Half Marathon course.

📍 PARKING

Plenty of free parking is available within the park, close to the start/finish area. Please use the blacktop multi-use path to make your way to/from parking.
