The tenth annual Hornet Dash 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run, presented by the Highland Alumni Association in Partnership with the Highland Foundation for Educational Excellence, takes place on Sunday, June 8th, 2025, at Highland High School.

- Description: This is a fun community running and walking event featuring balloon art, face painting and more.

- Kona Ice: Will be at the event donating all proceeds to the Foundation!
🕖 Registration & Timing
- On-Site Registration: Packet pick-up takes place from 7:30am-8:30am inside the stadium.
- 1-Mile Fun Run Start: Takes place at 8:30am, featuring four laps around the track.
- 5K Start: The chip-timed 5K begins at approximately 9:00am.
- 5K Course: Begins and ends at the Highland High School Stadium, with a mixture of road and trail.
