• Event Name: The tenth annual Hornet Dash 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run, presented by the Highland Alumni Association in Partnership with the Highland Foundation for Educational Excellence.
• Date: Sunday, June 8th, 2025.
• Location: Highland High School.

🎉 Event Highlights

• Fun Activities: This is a fun community running and walking event over varied terrain with balloon art, face painting, and more.
• Registration Perks: Registration includes your commemorative t-shirt!
• Food and Beverages: Coffee, Gatorade, and breakfast food items will be available for purchase, and proceeds benefit the Foundation.
• Kona Ice: Kona Ice will also be at the event donating all proceeds to the Foundation!

📋 Registration Information

• On-site Registration: On-site registration and packet pick-up takes place from 7:30am-8:30am inside the stadium.
• 1-Mile Fun Run: The 1-Mile Fun Run takes place at 8:30am.
• Track Laps: The 1-Mile Fun Run is four laps around the track.

⏱️ Race Timings

• 5K Start Time: The chip-timed 5K begins at approximately 9:00am.
• Start and Finish: The 5K begins and ends at the Highland High School Stadium.
• Course Details: The course is a mixture of road and trail.
