🏃♂️ Event Information
Come join us for the annual Halfway to Dot Day 5k Road Race on Saturday, December 14th, 2024! This is a family friendly run for all ages and abilities along the paths of DCR’s Pope John Paul Park in Dorchester and is certified and sanctioned by USA Track and Field – New England.
- Date: December 14th, 2024
- Start Time: 9am
- Registration Fee: $25 for adults and teenagers 12+
- Youth Donation: Minimum donation of $5 for youth under 12, supporting scholarships
🎉 Post-Race Celebration
Join us after the race at Florian Hall where there will be local vendors and perhaps a visit from old Saint Nick himself!!
🏞️ The Course
A fast and flat 5k (3.1 miles) inside of DCR's Pope John Paul II Park. Runners will start near the Hilltop Street entrance and pass by festively decorated water tables and carolers along the way.
📋 Bib Pick Up
Bib Packets will be available for EARLY PICK-UP on Friday December 13th from 5:00-8:00 pm - location to be shared soon!
- Morning Pick Up: Available at Florian Hall on December 14th starting at 7:30am
- Registration: Available during early pick-up and until 8:30am on race day
- Capacity: Registration will be available until we are full
🚗 Parking
Parking is available at the Walgreens Parking Lot (757 Gallivan Boulevard) and adjacent streets in the area. “Candy Cane Lane” will safely and quickly lead you from Walgreens through the park to the starting line.
- Limited Parking: Available at Florian Hall
- No Parking: In the McKeon Post parking lot
