Green Lake Road Race

🏃‍♂️ Location

• Address: 159 Lake Ave S, Spicer, MN
• Packet Pick Up: Zorbaz parking lot - look for tent
• Start of Race: Between Mel’s Sport Shop and the fishing access. Arrive 10 minutes early for pre-race meeting.

🏅 Description

• Race Type: The Green Lake Road Race is a 12 mile run that can be completed individually, as a 2-person relay, or as a 4-person relay.
• Start Time: Race starts at 7am. Arrival at the starting line should be 10 minutes early for the pre-race meeting.
• Bib Number: Attach your bib number on the front of your shirt just above the waist for the best read-rate.
• Water Stops: Water will be available at the 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 mile marks. Gatorade upon request.

🚑 Course Management

• Utility Vehicles: Two vehicles will patrol the course, with extra water available on the carts.
• Trash Management: Trash cans will be spaced along the course. Please DO NOT drop cups on the course.
• Finishing Refreshments: Refreshments will be available for each runner after finishing.

⌛ Timing & Awards

• Results: Times will be available at www.pickleevents.com.
• Awards Posting: Award winners will be posted online.
• Awards Presentation: Will take place behind Zorbaz on the deck at approximately 9:15 am.

🚌 Relay Instructions

• Bus Service: Available for relay teams. The first bus departs from the Spicer Legion parking lot at 7:05 am, following the race start.
• Return Trip: If not using the bus, plan your own return trip to the finish line or home.
• Exchange Points: Restrooms and water will be available at each exchange point.
• 2-Person Relay Exchange: Located at the 6 mile mark.

📅 Race Day Schedule

• 6am: Packet Pick Up - Zorbaz parking lot, look for the tent
• 7am: Race Starts - arrive 10 minutes early for a pre-race meeting
• 7:05am: Relay bus departs
• 9:15am: Estimated start time for awards presentation

👕 Runner's Shirts

• Shirt Guarantee: Runners pre-registered by June 23rd are guaranteed their shirt size.
• Shirt Availability: After June 23rd, shirts are first come, first served until sold out.

🏆 Divisions

• Men's Divisions: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, and 85+
• Women's Divisions: Similar age categories as men's.
• Family Division: Average time for 2 runners of the same family (e.g., Husband-Wife, Parent-Child).
• Relay Teams: 2-person and 4-person teams, no breakdown by gender or age.

🥇 Awards

• Top Male & Female: Medals for the top male and female finishers.
• Division Medals: Medals for places 1-3 in each division.
