Glen Carbon Covered Bridge 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for the Annual Glen Carbon Covered Bridge 5K held on June 14th, 2025 at 8:00am.

Runners will run down the MCT Ronald J Foster Heritage Trail for a flat and fast, out-and-back route. Event features a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk (non-timed).

🎖️ Event Highlights

• Finishers Medals: Finishers medals for all kids in 1 Mile Fun Run!
• Homecoming Activities: Plan to return to the Glen Carbon Homecoming in the evening, to ride rides, eat, play games and browse the vendor tents!
• Goshen Triple Crown Series: 3 local races, all the swag and an additional Goshen Triple Crown Series finishers medal. The Series includes: Run for Bonifest 5K, Route 66 10K and the Covered Bridge Run 5K.

🗓️ Event Details and Schedule

• Early Packet Pickup: June 14th - Packet pickup at Glen Carbon Village Hall from 3PM-6PM
• Race Day Registration: June 15th 6:30am-8:00am - Race day registration and Bib & Shirt pickup
• 5K Start Time: 8:00am - 5K run starts
• 1 Mile Start Time: 9:00am - 1 Mile run starts
• Awards Ceremony: 9:30am - Awards ceremony on stage in front of the Covered Bridge. Awards: Top 3 Male/Female Overall and Top 3 Male/Female in each age category - 9&Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
