Explorer 5K & Fun Run

Thank You for Supporting the 3rd Annual Explorer 5K

We are sincerely grateful for your support of the 3rd Annual Explorer 5K. All proceeds from this event are directly reinvested into Hudson’s student-athletes, athletic teams, equipment, and related programs.

About the Hudson Athletic Booster Club

• Mission: Dedicated to providing financial support to our teams, coaches, and athletes to further strengthen their athletic and academic success.
• Grant Funding: Last year, we proudly awarded more than $115,000 in grant funding to fulfill coaches’ requests for team needs.
• Scholarships: We provided four scholarships for $2,000 each to outstanding student-athletes.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
• Address: 2500 Hudson-Aurora Rd, Hudson, OH 44236
• Registration: 7am - Race day registration and packet pickup begin and close promptly at 7:45am.
• Schedule: 8am - National Anthem and send off by Mayor. 8:15-8:30am - Explorer 1 mile run/walk begins.

Race Timeline

• 7am: Race day registration and packet pickup begin.
• 8am: National Anthem and send off by Mayor.
• 8:15-8:30am: Explorer 1 mile run/walk begins.
• 9am: Kids fun run and dash begins inside the stadium on the track.

Race Locations

• Explorer 5K: The Explorer 5K will start in the Hudson High School tennis parking lot and take runners through the scenic trail of Hudson Springs Park and back to the high school to finish in the Hudson Memorial Stadium.
• One-Mile Loop: If you aren't up for the 5K, the One-Mile Loop is for you, looping around Memorial Stadium.
• Kids' Fun Run: Kids are encouraged to participate in the Fun Run on the Memorial Stadium track.
• Awards: Awards will be given to the top male and female winners.

Cost

• Registration Fee: Pre-Race Register for the 5K or One-Mile Loop is $35.
• T-shirt: All participants who pre-register will receive a short-sleeve Bella & Canvas race t-shirt.
• Discount: All Hudson City Schools teachers or staff, as well as students, will receive a $5 discount!

Packet Pickup

• Friday, September 12th: 2pm to 3:30pm - Teachers, staff and students only.
• Friday, September 12th: 4pm-5:30pm - All registrants.
• Friday, September 12th: 6pm-7pm - All registrants attending the game.
• Saturday, September 13th: 7:00 to 7:45 - All registrants.
